The crossover between Fall Guys and Ratchet and Clank is finally here! The event starts today on PS5, PS4, and PC, and even introduces an unlockable Ratchet skin. You can purchase both Ratchet and Clank in the item store for a fee, but if you want to play as Ratchet without paying, developers Mediatonic have added objectives to unlock the skin. We’ve got the breakdown on how to unlock the Fall Guys Ratchet and Clank skin.

In a tweet posted today, the official Fall Guys Twitter account revealed the objectives you’ll need to complete to get yourself a Ratchet skin. They are listed below:

  • Dive 30 times
  • Qualify from Survival Rounds 4 times
  • Earn at least a Bronze Medal in any round 10 times
  • Reach Round 3 in Squad Duos Show
  • Dive 50 times
  • Earn at least a Silver Medal in any round 10 times
  • Reach Round 4 in Squad Duos Show
  • Earn at least a Gold Medal in any round 10 times
  • Qualify from Survival Rounds 10 times
  • Win Squads Duos

As you can see, there’s a lot there, meaning it’ll be hard work to unlock the Fall Guys Ratchet skin. It’s unclear whether the objectives stack – for example, if you can complete the diving objectives concurrently. Either way, the focus is clearly on the new limited-time mode, Squad Duos Show.

It fits nicely with the Ratchet and Clank theme, as like the Lombax and his android friend, you’ll have to work together to win. It’ll no doubt take a good chunk of time to complete – especially getting a coveted win – but the delightful skin seems worth the effort. The Squad Duos Show mode is set to run until this time next week – August 2. You’ll need to dedicate some time, then – as that Fall Guys Ratchet skin is one prize worth getting.

In other news, the latest episode of Rick and Morty is out now – and it’s an improvement in an otherwise middling season. We’ve also unearthed a glitch in The Witcher: Monster Slayer that lets you skip straight to level 40.
