Pokemon is all about capturing and collecting adorable little creatures, but Pokemon Unite also offers your pocket monsters a selection of adorable outfits. These costumes are called Holowear, and they’re basically cosmetic skins you can apply to your Pokemon. It’s important to remember that skins in Pokemon Unite are cosmetic only. They will not change the gameplay in any way, nor will they offer any measurable advantage in battle. Keep that in mind before buying skins using real-world money.
For most players, costumes for different Pokemon will be low-priority. They just aren’t very important to the game. However, several skins are available as Battle Pass rewards. They only unlock for premium Battle Pass subscribers, but if you’re already paying money, it’s nice to know you’ll get a few costumes along the way.
