Are free Roblox account generators safe to use? (2021)

Roblox is one of those games that seems to have been around forever. The free-to-play multiplayer game has been a hit with kids and adults alike for years. However, the allure of Roblox account generators has always been strong. Supposedly, they’ll create an account loaded with free bonus items, and a stash of Robux to spend on items. This leaves one big question – are free account generators safe to use?

Roblox account generators

Generally speaking, you’re better off avoiding Roblox account generators. Not only are they unlikely to give you the wealth of riches they promise, but they could also land you in trouble with the Roblox Corporation.

More often than not, you can’t use a Roblox account generator through any legitimate means. Though they may appear on sites like Reddit, to actually get the account, you’ll need to join closed Discord servers, and download specific software that isn’t verified by the game’s developers. Therefore, you’re taking a huge risk with your device’s security by downloading them, as they could contain anything from viruses to spyware. They’re also pretty unreliable. If you go to the trouble of downloading one, it might not even work.

Equally, if you get caught using an account generated through these programs, there are big consequences. The official Roblox site strongly advises against using schemes like account generators. They say that anyone asking you to input your details anywhere is scamming you, and that you won’t receive a glitched account or free Robux. The terms of service also warn against it, too. They say that you cannot obtain “exploited game or experience content.” This includes hacked accounts with Robux. If you’re caught doing this, they reserve the right to immediately close your account.

Therefore, using a Roblox account generator isn’t worth the risk. They can be unreliable and dangerous, and could get your account shut down.
