Call of Duty Warzone is one of the most popular multiplayer games out there. Teaming up with friends to shoot enemies in Verdansk or Rebirth Island is an unbeatable experience. That’s why a new glitch, where players aren’t able to hear other members of their party, is a particular annoyance. Read on to find out how to resolve the issue where you can’t hear someone in your party – in both Warzone, and Black Ops Cold War multiplayer.
Why can’t I hear someone in my Warzone and Cold War party?
To solve a scenario where you can’t hear someone in your Call of Duty party, your best bet is to go back to square one. You’ll all need to back out from the lobby, and the game as a whole, and make a new one to try again. If this still doesn’t work, repetition is key – closing the game again, trying over, and repeating if needed. It’s not a technical fix by any means, but Activision has yet to provide a more specific solution, let alone a patch. Until that happens, a simple restart of the lobby, and the game, should sort the problem out.
The issue mainly seems to arise in Call of Duty lobbies with four members – the maximum for Warzone. It’s also a problem that’s cropping up in Cold War multiplayer. In these scenarios, party chat gets pretty muddled. Some players can hear some members and not others – and some can hear nothing at all. It’s an issue that can prove costly in a game like Warzone, where communication is key. A missed call-out can easily lead to death and an early trip to the gulag – and nobody wants that.
That’s the best solution we have so far, to an issue that can really hamper your chances of getting onto the exfil copter with a Warzone victory. Hopefully it’ll get patched soon, but until then, restarting is the best move.
