How to get TikTok on Windows 11

Windows 11 has finally been announced and it is aiming to making PCs better optimized for productivity and being efficient. At least, that’s one target, as the new operating system is also allowing users to install Android apps. This includes apps like TikTok. Here’s how to get TikTok on Windows 11.

How to get TikTok on Windows 11

To get TikTok on Windows 11, users must do the following:

  1. Upgrade to Windows 11.
  2. Open the Microsoft Store.
  3. Search for “TikTok” on the Amazon App storefront.
  4. Download and install the app.
  5. You can now use TikTok on your Windows 11 PC.

Once TikTok is installed, users can scroll endlessly through videos just like they would do on their phone or tablet. While this app certainly isn’t good for productivity, it can at least be entertaining. Just maybe avoid installing it on work or school PCs, as that could end badly!

In the same way that Mac computers can run iOS apps, Microsoft is allowing Android apps to work directly on Windows. With competition heating up like this, consumers will benefit from each company pushing themselves to innovate and introduce new features, rather than remaining complacent.

It remains to be seen how TikTok will work on the big screen and how easy it will be for users to upload content from the PC webcam. Here’s hoping it’s a smooth experience.

Expect some hiccups when Android apps first become available on Windows 11. There are sure to be some teething issues and niggles that will need rolling out with future updates.
