Guardians of the Galaxy Voice Actors

Does the Guardians of the Galaxy game have Chris Pratt, Batista, Bradley Cooper as voice actors?

The rumored Guardians of the Galaxy game was revealed at Square Enix’s E3 2021 showcase. Eidos Montreal is the primary studio developing the game, and fans will be happy to hear it’s not a live service like Marvel’s Avengers. The visual designs of the characters are obviously different from the movies, but fans are wondering whether Chris Pratt, Batista, or Bradley Cooper might be voice actors in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

What are the voice actors in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy from Square Enix?

After listening to the presentation, we can state with almost 100% certainty that no one from the film is voice acting characters in the game. That means Chris Pratt, Batista, and Bradley Cooper aren’t in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy game. However, information on who is portraying these characters isn’t known yet. As such, we can assume that like the Marvel’s Avengers game that this title exists in its own continuity that won’t feature events from the MCU. The big question is whether or not Square Enix’s GotG and Avengers titles will cross-over in some way, but the differences in gameplay have us thinking they won’t.

The Guardians of the Galaxy game is likely part of the partnership to “create multiple video games based on the Avengers franchise” that Square Enix signed with Marvel in 2017. We know that the critically panned Marvel’s Avengers was the first of these titles to debut, but Guardians of the Galaxy is only the second to come to light. Therefore, it can be assumed that “multiple” means there are more unrevealed Marvel-licensed titles currently in production at Square Enix’s various studios.

It won’t be long before players get to take Starlord and company on an adventure across the cosmos. Guardians of the Galaxy will release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on October 26, 2021.
