The free Scarlet Nexus demo is available now, exclusively on Xbox for the time being. Since Bandai Namco’s new action game is appearing in Xbox marketing and the trial is a timed platform exclusive, players are wondering if there’s also a Game Pass deal. Are they right to do so, though? Here’s the latest on a Scarlet Nexus Game Pass release for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
Is Scarlet Nexus coming to Game Pass for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One?
Scarlet Nexus has a marketing partnership with Microsoft and is launching across Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on June 25, 2021. At the time of writing, there are no public plans for a Scarlet Nexus Xbox Game Pass launch.
Although there have been no announcements on Scarlet Nexus coming to XGP or Game Pass Ultimate, it’s a possibility in the future. Bandai Namco is a proponent of the Xbox Game Pass service, having shown support with titles like Soulcalibur VI, Tales of Vesperia, Code Vein, and more. Those final two games, in particular, share a lot in common with Scarlet Nexus; it’s no secret that Xbox has been looking to offer more JRPG-style games to help push into Japan, and Scarlet Nexus on Game Pass would be a step in the right direction.
Is Scarlet Nexus coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC?
Scarlet Nexus is coming to PC via Steam. Currently, there are no known plans regarding a Scarlet Nexus Game Pass PC release date.
Bandai Namco has shown a lot of support for Game Pass, so it’s possible that Scarlet Nexus will eventually join the XGP lineup of games. Microsoft has been a marketing partner on the title since it was first announced, which means Scarlet Nexus on PC Game Pass could happen soon.
Whether picking the game up or patiently waiting (and hoping) for a Game Pass launch, be sure not to miss the Scarlet Nexus anime.
