The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Wrath of the Druids snake location is probably the biggest secret in the whole expansion. It’s the whole country of Ireland and finding one measly reptile is a big ask. Here’s where to find the AC Valhalla Wrath of the Druids snake for trophy or achievement called “The Legend of St. Patrick.”
How to find the snake in the AC Valhalla Wrath of the Druids DLC
To find the snake in the Wrath of the Druids expansion, players need to travel to Meath, one of the game’s territories. It’s the one in the center with a lot of boggy marshes. Go to this spot on the map within the foggy boggy marsh.
There will be a church-like structure with a cursed symbol in it. Find the cursed symbol and shoot it as it makes it easier to see and move around, but this step is not required for this trophy (but is required for the “Irish Legend” for completing all territories in Ireland).
Walk into the church and there will be a big red vase.
Shoot or smash it. The long snake will be inside and ready to bite. Simply attack the snake in whatever way works. Once it is dead, the trophy or achievement will unlock.
This trophy is a reference to St. Patrick, the legendary Irish figure who, according to the myth, drove away all the snakes in Ireland. There’s debate on whether or not Ireland ever had snakes to begin with, but it is a myth and likely not meant to be taken as literal fact. Also the snake in the game doesn’t seem to specifically be tied to the myth at all. St. Patrick drove the snakes away from the north on a hill and this snake is not to the north nor is it on a hill.
