How to fix Scavengers Friends Invite not working bug

A Scavengers Friends Invite bug is causing a lot of trouble for friends matchmaking in the game. Unfortunately, anyone that is currently playing the Early Access beta on PC and trying to invite friends to a game may find that the option is not working. Here’s how to fix it.

Is there a Scavengers Friends Invite matchmaking bug fix?

Scavengers Friends Invite fix

To fix the Scavengers friends invite not working bug, players will have to unfriend the person they want to add, friend them again, then try inviting them again.

If the above fix doesn’t work, one or both players may need to restart their game too.

To clarify, the bug with the Friends Invite system simply causes the ability to add in-game friends to a lobby to stop working. Players can add as many friends as they want, who will all show up on the lobby list when that player goes to start a game.

Normally, to invite a friend to a party it’s a simple matter of clicking on their name and choosing “invite,” but for whatever reason, after a little while or a few sessions the invite option just stops working. Friends won’t receive an invite and won’t be able to join that player’s party.

The easiest way to fix this is to merely unfriend a player and then re-friend them immediately, then hopefully the invite option will be working again. If not, unfriend them and ask them to restart Scavengers, then add them as a friend again. This should unlock the invite ability again.

Of course, this isn’t the only issue Scavengers players have found right now. Here are the best settings to cut down FPS issues, and to sort out more extreme stutters and lags there’s a fix for that too. On the bright side, anyone playing Early Access can claim a 1500 credit bonus, so here’s how to do that.
