The Oddworld: Soulstorm Slig Mama boss in the Hijack level is one of the hardest fights in the whole game. It can take a lot of tries to just to take down since its missiles are very, very deadly. Here’s how to kill the Slig Mama mech boss in Oddworld: Soulstorm.

To beat the Slig Mama boss, players have to take it slowly and avoid the fire and rockets. Fire spreads easily so be sure to have the fire extinguisher handy. The goal is to get close enough to it to light the propane tank under it on fire. Here’s how to get close.
First and foremost, tell the Mudokons to wait by the vending machine. They’ll just burn if they follow Abe. Then go through the middle row and smash the boxes. The missiles seem to be a little glitchy here and will likely not hit you (but it is inconsistent).
Second, drop down to the bottom row after the last car and coat the entire floor with Soulstorm brew. This will break down the wooden and open up the Royal Jelly. This isn’t required but is for the challenge and can boost Abe’s health if he catches on fire. Be sure to coat the entire floor, too, as just a small gap can stop the fire.
Next, jump up to the spot in the above picture. The missiles can’t hit Abe here. This positioning will make the missiles hit and explode almost everything on that next cart. Going there too early can cause an unexpected chain reaction of fire and explosions. It’s best to avoid that.
Go to the spot in the above picture and start lobbing Soulstorm brew near the Slig Mama. It’s not possible to kill it from here but this spot is safe and will coat a lot of the floor in the flammable liquid. Go back to stock up on some brew near the checkpoint and once you’re there, it’s also a good idea to backtrack to the previous checkpoint to ensure less backtracking.
Be sure to use the fire extinguisher on the next platform to make it safe there before jumping. Then throw a smoke bomb onto that last platform and quickly jump to it. This should keep the Slig Mama from firing rockets (but, again, it can be inconsistent). If smoke bombs aren’t an option, then players may need to be extra fast at throwing brew bottles while on that next platform.
While inside the smoke, toss a ton of Soulstorm brew at the base of the machine.
Toss a ton of it and hope it gets where it needs. Remember that the fire needs to reach the propane tank underneath it. If done correctly, the robot should start smoking and explode.
