The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos DLC: How to start
To start the Murder on Eridanos DLC, players have to progress through the main story and beat the Radio Free Monarch quest or the Signal Point in Space quest.
View the quests by going into the menu and scrolling down. At least one should be in the “Completed” tab.
And, as the above picture says, players have to have access to the Stellar Bay landing pad on Monarch.
Once all those criteria are met, go to Ava aboard the Unreliable at the Navigation Terminal.
Talk to her and pick the “You mentioned an aetherwave drama? I’d like to see it.” option.
This will kick of the “No Night Without Stars” mission, which is highlighted in red on the mission screen. Highlighting it in the mission menu will make everything easier.
Eridanos will now be on the galaxy map. It’s the big planet in the upper left side of the screen. Fly there and the Murder on Eridanos DLC will begin in earnest.
The suggest mission level is 30 for this DLC. Players below that threshold may want to hold off as this final expansion can be a little punishing for those will weaker skills and underleveled gear. It’s suggested that players possibly play Peril on Gorgon first because its recommended level is 25.
Those who have gotten past the point of no return have recently been given the ability to back out and play the game’s two pieces of DLC. Essentially, it’s almost never too late now to be able to enjoy either piece of DLC this game has to offer.
