Hitman 3 Romania train door code

The Hitman 3 train door code in the Carpathian Mountains in Romania is not like many of the other codes in the game. There’s nothing to hack and no document to find. It just has to be solved. Here’s how to find the Hitman 3 Romania train keypad code.

The Hitman 3 Carpathian door code is 1979. While it seems random, the game hints at this right in that very same room with the keypad.

Once Agent 47 walks into that last car, look up at the poster on the wall on the left by the computer. This is the room after the room with the guard and scientist in it and just a few rooms past where the level begins.

There will be a poster on the left side of the final room with “1979” on it in big font. That’s the clue the game gives to the player. Walk up to the keypad and punch it in to progress. Make sure to press the “OK” key in the bottom right as well.

Entering the correct code in the keypad for that door will unlock the door, yield the almighty rusty crowbar needed to progress (which respawns here if it breaks), and also unlock the “Button Masher” challenge, which is good for mastering the level. It’s not a hard level to master either since it is rather linear. Just be sure to make a save before the last confrontation so the level can be easily finished again and mastered without going through the whole thing again.

There appears to be no other way to get into that room, which is quite odd for a game that is known for being so open. So try not to look for some other method to jimmy the door open because those attempts will just end with frustration.
