Fortnite Crew not working on Samsung device fix

Fortnite Crew not working on Samsung device fix

The Fortnite Crew subscription service provides surprisingly good value… when it works. Samsung Galaxy phone and Samsung tablet owners are finding that they can’t purchase a Fortnite Crew sub. So, is there a Fortnite Crew not working fix for Samsung devices? Here’s the need-to-know on glitched Crew subs with the “We Hit A Roadblock” error message.

Fortnite ‘We Hit A Roadblock’ Error | Critical error with your purchase fix

Fortnite Crew not working on Samsung device fix

When using a Samsung smart device to play Fortnite, users are encountering an issue with buying the Crew monthly subscription package. Although Epic Games takes the money, players aren’t receiving any of the benefits. Instead, they get an error screen, which is far from ideal.

Here’s the complete Fortnite Crew purchase failed error message:

We Hit A Roadblock

We’ve encountered a critical error with your purchase. Our team has been dispatched to resolve the issue. We will confirm when your purchase has been completed.

Epic Games is aware of the broken Fortnite Crew on Samsung devices bug and actively working on a fix. The team is currently investigating the issue and lists it as a top priority, so, hopefully, it won’t be long before a patch is released. Affected users can track the status of a Fortnite Crew Samsung patch via its Trello card.

There is also a workaround for players that haven’t yet attempted to subscribe to Fortnite Crew on a Samsung device. Accounts are universal, which means players can buy a Fortnite Crew subscription on Xbox, for example, and then transfer the benefits to a Samsung Android device thereafter. Obviously, that isn’t ideal, but since Fortnite is available on most platforms many Samsung smartphone and tablet owners will have access to the game elsewhere.
