Assassin’s Creed Valhalla | How to get the Bayek skin

The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Bayek skin is the simplest way to get Eivor dressed in Ancient Egyptian attire. But it isn’t all that simple to get as it requires that players jump through some arbitrary, time-specific hoops. Here’s how to unlock the Bayek costume in ACV.

To get the Bayek skin in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, players will have to register for Ubisoft’s Happy Holidays promotion. This is currently going on and players just need to log in with their Ubisoft account to get going. Once they do, a confirmation screen will pop up saying that the Bayek outfit will show up in their account within seven days. A confirmation email will also hit their inbox when the skin gets into their game. This skin will unlock on every platform, too.

Players can equip the armor in the gear menu and it should be under the torso section. Once equipped, players will be looking slightly less Norse and just a bit more Egyptian.

But this is a limited-time event and will thus lock a lot of players out. However, there is hope that the ACV Bayek skin will come back in the future. The game currently says the armor is only for people who watched the Twitch reveal, which was earlier in 2020. Obviously, that was a highly time-sensitive event that a lot of people missed.

This holiday event shows that Ubisoft will bring back old previously locked skins. It just is a matter of when but this can be quite the waiting game and depends on luck. Ubisoft did something similar with the Valhalla armor that came to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey as well as the Ezio costume. These are hardly gone forever yet it will take some determination and an open ear to be able to get them again.
