Cyberpunk Best Build 1

Cyberpunk 2077 Best Builds | What stats and perks should I choose?

As an RPG, Cyberpunk 2077 has levels, attributes, and skills that can be used to build a character. There are essentially three different ways the game can be played. V can go in guns blazing, hack his enemy’s implants and systems, or utilize stealth to bypass fighting entirely. The best character build will allow Cyberpunk 2077 players to use all three methods as well as have the attribute points needed to force open or hack doors that would otherwise be inaccessible.

What’s the best character build for Cyberpunk 2077?

Cyberpunk Best Builds 2

Cyberpunk 2077 has a flexible stat system. The weapons and armor equipped on the character have a more significant effect on a player’s effectiveness than stats. So, a good gun is a good gun, regardless of a character’s stats and perks. Any spend points can be respecced using an item, so even if players want to try a different build, it’s relatively easy to do so.

Before we get to the best build, it’s best to face a few facts about Cyberpunk 2077. The stealth gameplay is not great and nets less items. Hacking can be interesting, but the offensive capabilities use so much RAM that it’s not really feasible to use as a primary weapon. So, that leaves us with a more direct playstyle.

An aggressive playstyle is rewarded in Cyberpunk 2077. There’s little to no penalty for not using hacking or stealth, and even missions where a quiet infiltration is suggested won’t fail the player for just shooting everyone.

So, the best build for Cyberpunk 2077 is to invest in Body, Technical Ability, and Intelligence.

Points in Body increase total health and stamina. It also contains the crucial Athletics skill tree, which contains the all-important total health and regeneration skills. This tree also contains skills that allow players to carry more, which is very helpful considering the amount of loot throughout the game.

The points in Technical Ability and Intelligence can be helpful for those who want to craft or use their cyberdeck regularly. However, the most crucial thing players get from investing points in these attributes is the ability to open particular doors. Some doors will have a skill check, which requires a minimum amount invested in one of these stats to open.

The most important thing, beyond any stats or skills, is to get a good gun. We suggest grabbing the two weapons we recommend in our money farming guide as they make the player a killing machine.
