Is Tilted Towers coming back in Chapter 2 Season 5

Fortnite Salty Towers | Is Tilted Towers coming back in Chapter 2 Season 5?

Following the untimely destruction of Tilted Towers, every new Fortnite season comes with fans asking “Is Tilted Towers coming back?” Though developer Epic Games has been firm about keeping the named location out of the game in recent seasons, this is about to change. Following the battle with Galactus, which causes massive shifts in time and space, Tilted Towers is back! However, there’s a catch.

Tilted Towers is coming back in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 in the form of Salty Towers. This is a combination of two fan-favorite locations: Salty Springs and Tilted Towers.

Rather than bring back both maps as separate locations, Epic Games has decided to merge the two. Elements from Salty Springs and Tilted Towers can both be found in this smashed-together mix of buildings that have been surrounded by sand. This should mean nostalgia for veteran players while keeping the gameplay experience fresh.

It might not be what diehard Tilted Towers fans had in mind, but it’s surely better than nothing? There are still familiar buildings that players can battle within and destroy, which should at least allow people to relive memories of the early island version.

Perhaps the Tilted Towers Season 1 version will eventually return to Fortnite. Until then, Salty Towers is the closest that players will be getting. Here’s hoping it’s still good fun!

Maybe land at Salty Towers to try and get the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 Victory Umbrella. Here’s what it looks like and how to unlock it.

The Chapter 2 Season 5 map has a total of 17 new named places. Salty Towers is just one of the many new points of interest. Take a look at the map here.

Epic Games has buckled and finally given in to the anime fandom. Here’s how to unlock the Lexa skin in Fortnite
