Black Ops Cold War negative CoD Points fix

Black Ops Cold War negative CoD Points fix

Some Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players are booting up the game to find an unpleasant surprise. Not only have these users’ premium CoD Points disappeared but the value shows as a negative. Thankfully that doesn’t indicate that players owe Activision money, but it does leave people scratching their heads and asking: “Where have my Cod Points gone?” Don’t worry, though, as there’s an easy Black Ops Cold War negative CoD Points fix.

Black Ops Cold War Negative CoD Points | Missing premium currency fix

Black Ops Cold War negative CoD Points fix

While launch window glitches are commonplace, this CoD: Black Ops Cold War bug stands out as it seemingly costs players real money. Luckily for those playing the new Call of Duty game on PC via Battle.net — where the issue seems to be occurring — there’s a simple solution.

Activision is aware of the Black Ops Cold War negative CoD Points issue and is currently working on a fix. In the meantime, the Call of Duty publisher has assured players that this glitch is merely a “display issue” and their CoD Points balance is still correct.

Booting up another Call of Duty game will allow fans to see their true CoD Points value. Although that’s somewhat inconvenient, it comes as a massive relief that players’ premium in-game currency hasn’t been deleted. Hopefully, it won’t be too long a wait until an official Black Ops Cold War negative CoD Points patch is released in a future game update.

Unfortunately, Black Ops Cold War PC players aren’t just battling the negative CoD Points glitch. Blizzard’s Battle.net service is also throwing up errors like BLZBNTBGS00000BC6 and BLZBNTBGS000003F8, though there are fixes at the relevant links. The bumpy launch has a lot of PC gamers wondering if Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will eventually come to Steam.
