Ambrosia can be many different things, but in Immortals Fenyx Rising, it is a valuable resource. And being a valuable resource, it can be hard to find at time. Here’s how to get ambrosia in Immortals, where to find it, and what it does.
Where to get ambrosia in Immortals Fenyx Rising
Exploring the open world
Ambrosia can be found in the world of Immortals and shows up as a white, purple, and blue crystal on the map and compass. Ambrosia crystals are usually found up high or near a few enemies. There are some that are handed out, but few of them actually are. Players usually have to kill some enemies, sneak around them, or climb up to some high place to get them. Knowing that, use Far Sight (hold in R3) and look up to have a better chance of marking one on the map.
Completing Hermes’ chores
Early on into the game, players will get tasks from Hermes. He will have a board of missions in the Hall of the Gods and players can accept and complete missions from there. Many of them have different rewards but some of them give the player ambrosia. Since they are not live tasks, they do not yield elektrum.
Chests
It is very rare to get ambrosia from chests but it is possible. It seems to only come in some special chests, like the ones found in the main god vaults. These are the big climactic vaults in each god’s storyline.
How to use ambrosia and upgrade health
To upgrade Fenyx’s health, players must first collect a few pieces of ambrosia and go to the Hall of the Gods in the Valley of Eternal Spring. There is a cup there with a red icon over it near the gear upgrade station called the Kylix of Athena. Go over to it and press the interact button. The amount of needed ambrosia will be in the lower left and the amount the player has will be in the upper right. It takes 90 total pieces of ambrosia to get to full health.
Thankfully, there are far more than 90 in the game. Players can turn in more ambrosia after that to boost their defense.
