Some players who are attempting to log into the game are unable to do so and hoping for a Destiny 2 Attention Servers are not available fix. A flood of players are surely trying to get into the game to play its latest update, but it seems that Bungie’s servers can’t quite keep up.

The first hints of this issue began when Bungie recently told players that the Destiny 2 servers were “temporarily at capacity.” After that, the company’s service update Twitter account reported that a handful of players were able to sign into the game’s servers while maintenance was still underway for the Destiny 2 Update 3.0 patch. The patch has since launched as of 12:00 PM EST on November 10, 2020, but problems with the game’s servers are persisting.

“We’re currently investigating server and connection issues while trying to launch into the game,” read a tweet from Bungie. “Stay tuned for updates.”

An additional complication is likely due to Destiny 2 debuting on Xbox Game Pass. Unfortunately, it appears that players can’t do much to resolve this issue on their own. Players can also monitor the Destiny 2 server status page to see if maintenance is still underway. Until then, there isn’t much more to do other than wait.
