How to create a Jomsviking in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Buy the barracks at the Ravensthorpe base
There are multiple types of settlements to buy at the base, but the barracks are the one vital for making a Jomsviking. It’s near the port and has the helmet face as the icon. It is 30 raw materials and 400 supplies. You will first need to level up your settlement to be able to build this. It is somewhat near Reda’s shop.
Talk to the woman outside of the barracks
Once built, there will be an older woman standing outside the barracks named Eydis. Talk to her to create a Jomsviking.
Outfit your Jomsviking with the right gear
Now the game will open up the customization menu and allow the player to outfit their Jomsviking however they please. This applies to weapons, gender, and gear. They can be changed by going back to the woman outside of the tent.
This will send the player’s Jomsviking out into the wild. Be sure to check back with Eydis because the player will get paid silver every time their Jomsviking is used.
Add them to your raiding crew
Go back to Eydis and add the Jomsviking to your crew. Select “I want to manage my crew” in order to swap out your pillaging squad.
How to recruit a Jomsviking
Other Jomsvikings can be recruited as well. They show up with the Jomsviking helmet icon on the map and have the “recruit” prompt on them. They cost 100 silver and can be slotted into the player’s raiding crew. This is done the same way as subbing in the player’s own Jomsvikings.
