Best Answer: Navigate to the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla fast travel locations on the map, which are accessible after players have first explored them.

Fast traveling is one way to traverse the huge map in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Thankfully, players don’t need to hoof it everywhere via horse to get to their destination. Here’s how to fast travel in ACV.

To fast travel in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you will first need to have explored the area you want to fast travel to. This is a standard practice in most other games and no different here. To fast travel to that place, open up the map and hover the cursor over the desired spot. Press and hold the X button on PS5/PS4 systems and the A button on Xbox Series X/S/One to confirm the jump.

Eivor can’t just fast travel to any place on the map, but only on certain icons on the map. These places include:

  • Synchronization points
  • The settlement
  • Harbors

All of these are marked on the map and a teal or turquoise color, the same color as tracked quest objectives (which players can’t fast travel to). They are also one of the few icons that can be seen when zoomed all the way out. The settlement is the big hut, the harbors are the anchors, and the synchronization points are the eagles, which is like the other entries in the series.

When discovered, the harbors (which are great places to fish) will even have a pop-up showing the player they can now fast travel there. Synch points will be fast travel points when the player synchronizes with them and reveals the map. The settlement is available for fast travel from the start.

Players can’t fast travel if they are currently in conflict, which isn’t out of the ordinary. Clearing out the enemies will allow the player to fast travel once again. Fast traveling is also available in hostile zones as long as the enemy is unaware of Eivor’s presence. Be sure to tag them all to avoid detection and ensure fast travel is always an option.
