The FIFA 21 1.03 update patch notes have been revealed, with the EA game receiving a new title update today featuring improvements to its Ultimate Team mode. This new FIFA 21 update only includes small tweaks following the game’s official launch this week, after it was previously available early via the EA Access program.
FIFA 21 1.03 patch notes
The FIFA 21 1.03 update focuses on a technical issue that players would experience in the game’s popular Ultimate Team mode. This error would occur when players would make bids for cards in the game’s transfer market.
The error was a “stability issue” that prevented players from making bids on new cards, which are used to bolster their respective Ultimate Teams. This prohibited players from making certain bids, therefore providing a significant hurdle for those trying to improve their teams.
The FIFA 21 1.03 patch notes are as follows:
Ultimate Team
Addressed the following issue:
- A stability issue sometimes occurred when making bids on the FUT Transfer Market.
While only a small update, it at least fixes a prominent issue with FIFA 21‘s Ultimate Team mode. Considering that this is the game’s marquee mode and inarguably its most popular among its player base, any fixes to improve its stability will be welcomed by its community.
This isn’t the first technical issue that FIFA 21 has faced since launching. Previously, players noted that FIFA Coins were missing from the game’s web app, preventing them from purchasing packs in its Ultimate Team mode. Fortunately, this issue was later resolved, and players are now able to buy FIFA Coins via the game’s companion app without an issue.
FIFA 21 received its official release on October 6, 2020, after previously being available early to EA Access subscribers as part of its 10-hour trial period. It will be the final FIFA game to release with a focus on current-gen PS4 and Xbox One hardware, with the PS5 and Xbox Series X set to release next month.
