Confirmation comes from prominent CoD content creator Drift0r, who uploaded a YouTube video discussing sniper rifles. Having played the game early, he was able to confirm that quickscoping returns in Black Ops Cold War.
Not only does it return, but, if anything, it’s stronger than ever due to the ability to equip any scope. Currently, it’s possible to equip a red dot sight to a sniper rifle in CoD: BOCW, presenting some crazy mid-to-close range quickscoping opportunities.
