Can you quickscope in Black Ops Cold WarQuickscoping can be a divisive feature, but, whether you love it or hate it, everybody’s eager to know if it returns in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Stick with this guide for the latest details on CoD: Black Ops Cold War quickscoping functionality.

Black Ops Cold War Quickscoping | Can you quickscope in CoD: BOCW?

Can you quickscope in Black Ops Cold War?

Yes, you can quickscope in Black Ops Cold War. Just like in previous Call of Duty games, quickscoping is a powerful tool in any sniper’s arsenal. Additionally, it’s still possible to equip different weapon attachments that alter quickscoping to fit your play style.

Confirmation comes from prominent CoD content creator Drift0r, who uploaded a YouTube video discussing sniper rifles. Having played the game early, he was able to confirm that quickscoping returns in Black Ops Cold War.

Not only does it return, but, if anything, it’s stronger than ever due to the ability to equip any scope. Currently, it’s possible to equip a red dot sight to a sniper rifle in CoD: BOCW, presenting some crazy mid-to-close range quickscoping opportunities. Drift0r does note that he believes this could be removed before launch, however.

That wouldn’t be out of the ordinary, as we’ve seen major changes made to previous Call of Duty games based on beta feedback. If it isn’t removed, though, quickscoping could potentially be taken to a whole new level in Black Ops Cold War.
