Fortnite 20% Discount | How to calculate percentage of a number
To calculate the percentage of a number, simply follow these steps:
- To work out a 20% discount of $25:
- 25 x 20% = 5
- 25 – 5 = 20
- 20% off $25 is $20
- If you don’t have a percentage button on your calculator:
- 25 x o.2 = 20
- 25 – 5 = 20
- If you don’t have a percentage button on your calculator:
Or, you can simply divide the original number by five to find out what the 20% discount is. Fortunately, though, Fortnite should automatically take off the discount from any purchase of V-Bucks or other real-money offers.
How to get the 20% discount in Fortnite
On PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, the 20% discount should automatically be taken off your price. Things will simply be cheaper than they were before the latest game update (August 13, 2020). All you need to do is ensure the game is updated to its latest version. On Android and iOS devices, however, it’s a little different.
When buying V-Bucks on Android and iOS, you need to choose to pay through Epic direct payment, rather than through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The game will show you what the discount price is for paying through Epic direct payment. The new system takes away the 30% Apple and Google fee from purchases, making things cheaper for you and better off for Epic Games. Win win. Alternatively, you can buy V-Bucks at their new discounted price for Android from the Epic Games app and on Samsung Galaxy Store.
On top of all the discounts, you’ll also get the free Shooting Starstaff Pickaxe (see it above) when you next log in to Fortnite. You’ll get bonus V-Bucks on any purchase made between July 14, 2020, and August 13, 2o20, too. This will be 20% of the total V-Bucks you spent during that time-frame automatically added to your account.
