Have you noticed cheating in Valorant on PC? Unfortunately, there are Valorant hacks out there. Hackers are using Valorant cheats like Aimbot, Wallhack, and ESP to spoil legitimate players’ fun. To keep the game competitive, keep reading to learn how to spot and report Valorant hackers.
Valorant Hacks | How to identify and report hackers
The main Valorant hacks are Aimbot, Wallhack, and ESP (Extra Sensory Perception). These essentially combine to give players superhuman accuracy and foresight, elevating their skills and anticipation beyond what’s legitimately possible. Spotting a hacker mostly comes with hands-on game experience; devoted Valorant players know better than anyone else when something is off. Visual tells can also help, however, like enemies unnaturally snapping to targets (usually the head) and always anticipating flank attacks.
Hacks are intentionally hidden from Riot Games, making it hard for the developers to detect cheaters. Due to that fact, it largely falls to the Valorant community to identify and report hackers. If you notice the above and/or suspect that a player is cheating for other reasons, then you should report them in-game.
How to report Valorant hackers
To report a player during an active Valorant match:
- Identify a player that you believe is cheating.
- Press Esc to bring up the scoreboard.
- Hold Tab to enable the cursor, then right-click the offending player’s name.
- Click the “Report” option.
- Click the “Cheating” tickbox and then the “Report” button.
To report a player after a Valorant match has concluded:
- From the menu, navigate to the “Career” tab.
- Select the match in which you encountered a cheater.
- Navigate to the “Scoreboard” screen.
- Right-click the offending player’s name.
- Click the “Report” option.
- Click the “Cheating” tickbox and then the “Report” button.
It’s also worth noting that you shouldn’t message suspected hackers with abuse. Some people are just really good — only the devs can definitively state who is and isn’t cheating. Just file the report and trust Riot to do its thing. Confirmed cheaters will be permanently banned, as seen in this example.
