Rocket League Server Downtime

Rocket League Servers Down | Epic Games authentication issues

The Rocket League servers are down due to issues with Epic Online Services. This means the game will be down for everyone problems with Epic Games’ authentication services are back online. However, you don’t have to wait too long to jump back onto the field. This won’t be an all-day outage.

Is Rocket League down?

Rocket League is indeed down. There’s no major issue with the game itself. Instead, this outage is due to Epic Games Service’s authentication services having issues. Epic Games is aware of the issue and will be working on restoring service. It’s doubtful this will take too long, though, players will experience issues with any title that uses Epic Games for multiplayer while the problem persists.

Server maintenance is a required procedure in most online games, so there’s nothing to be alarmed about. As today isn’t the launch of a significant update, Rocket League shouldn’t be down for long. There shouldn’t be any unexpected problems with bringing the game back online.
