Destroy All Humans trophy guide and roadmap (2020 remake)

Destroy All Humans Pyrokinesis Trophy | How to set something on fire

It seems as though you will get the Destroy All Humans Pyrokinesis trophy or achievement without even trying. After all, you have to kill a lot of people in the game so it isn’t outlandish that you would accidentally kill someone with fire. However, it’s not that easy and you will likely have to go out of your way to earn it. So how do you “Set something on fire, then use it to destroy a hapless human” as the game states?

There are probably a few different ways to get this trophy as there are many things in the world that can catch on fire. But the game seems rather strict of what it considers being on fire. Because of those odd restrictions, the easiest way would be to use a bale of hay as your target. Make sure you have the Disintegrator Ray since that will make this process way easier.

To do this, you’ll need to go to Rockwell, the game’s second area. There are bales of hay everywhere, but you’ll find a ton of them at the fairgrounds with the Ferris wheel and carnival rides.

Shoot the hay bale with your Disintegrator Ray so it lights up and then pick it up with psychokinesis. Then target a human with the aiming button and chuck the flaming hay bale at them. This should kill them but you may need to soften the human up a little first with the Zap-O-Matic. That should get you the trophy.

There are a lot of other trophies and achievements in the game. For a rundown on how to get them all, be sure to visit our trophy guide and roadmap on the entire game. This will help you get every trophy or achievement in the game.
