How to sheath your sword in Ghost of Tsushima

While you can just wait for Jin to automatically put his sword away in Ghost of Tsushima, you’re going to want to know how to do it manually to look truly cool at the end of a big fight. Developer Sucker Punch Productions has implemented a manual sheathing button that has Jin clean the blade in style, before putting it away. Here’s our guide on how to sheath your sword in Ghost of Tsushima.

Swipe right on the DualShock 4 touchpad to put your sword away.

Developer Sucker Punch has done well to incorporate the PS4’s controller into Ghost of Tsushima‘s button layout. Swiping the DualShock 4 touchpad has multiple different functions, one of which is the ability to sheath your sword.

As mentioned above, you’ll be wanting to move your finger from left to right across the touchpad, which will make Jin put his sword away.

There isn’t any gameplay advantage to be had by putting your sword away, it’s just more aesthetically pleasing.

After finishing a big fight, you can swipe right on the touchpad to make Jin flick the blood off his blade, cleaning it, before then putting it away. It just looks cool as hell, basically!

If you want to speed up the animation process and put your sword away even more quickly, you can swipe left on DualShock 4 touchpad to pull out your flute. Swipe left again to put the flute away, which is faster than going through the whole sheathing process.

Now you know how to sheath your sword in Ghost of Tsushima to look super cool!
