Square Enix’s anticipated re-release, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition, is set to launch this summer on PS4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. Where does that leave us regarding Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered PC and Xbox One versions, though? Stick with this guide for everything you need to know.
Is Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered coming to PC?
There’s no FFCC Remastered PC port on the way according to the game’s developers. As you’d expect, that means there isn’t a Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered PC release date on the horizon.

Being an ARPG from a recognized franchise, and a remaster of a GameCube classic, it’s hard to say exactly why Square isn’t working on a PC version. It seems like the platform would have a built-in audience for Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition, though, nonetheless, they’re apparently opting to skip personal computers this time around.
Recent Square Enix JRPG remaster Trials of Mana hit PC at launch, which makes the choice seem even more peculiar. Hopefully, we might see a Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered PC release in the future.
Is Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered coming to Xbox One?
A Crystal Chronicles Remastered Xbox port doesn’t appear to be in the works either. Again, there’s no Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Xbox One release date as a result.
The decision not to release on Microsoft’s Xbox platform is more commonplace for JRPGs. Generally speaking, they don’t find as much success there and this could explain why FFCC isn’t making the transition. The aforementioned Trials of Mana didn’t make it to Xbox One earlier this year, so there’s definitely precedent for Square JRPGs skipping Xbox.
If the remaster does well enough and the demand is there, however, you can’t rule out a Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition Xbox One version altogether. While we wouldn’t recommend holding your breath, stranger things have happened.
