Monolith Soft’s classic Nintendo Wii JRPG, Xenoblade Chronicles, is being remastered for Switch and re-released as Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition later this month. While it’s great to see the acclaimed game get another shot in the limelight, will there be Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition PS4, PC, and Xbox One version for everybody to enjoy? Keep scrolling to find out.
Is Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition coming to PS4?
Unfortunately, Xenoblade Chronicles: DE isn’t scheduled to hit Sony’s PlayStation hardware. With no word regarding the existence of a port, there’s naturally no Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition PS4 release date for us to share.

Although you should never say never, especially in the unpredictable video games industry, it doesn’t seem all that likely that the Xenoblade Chronicles remaster will release on PlayStation 4. The Xenoblade series is owned by Nintendo, which explains why both Chronicles and its sequel have exclusively appeared on Nintendo platforms thus far.
Is Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition coming to PC?
As with a potential PS4 version, there are no known plans to bring the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles remaster to PC. Again, there isn’t a Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition PC release date scheduled due to that fact.
Although Microsoft has fully embraced putting Xbox games on PC, and Sony is slowly following suit with the PlayStation catalog, there’s no sign that Nintendo plans to do the same. With that in mind, it seems likely that Xenoblade Chronicles: DE will remain exclusive to Switch and not be ported to personal computers.
Is Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition coming to Xbox One?
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that there’s no Xbox One version of Xenoblade Chronicles remastered in the works. Obviously, there’s also no Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition Xbox One release date.
As previously mentioned, Xenoblade is owned by Nintendo and the Japanese hardware and software manufacturer isn’t likely to release the game for competing platforms.
