How do you unlock weekly hunts in Apex Legends?
Apex Legends Broken Ghost season quest start date and end date
The Apex Legends Broken Ghost season (Season 5) starts on May 12, but the first weekly hunt won’t come until May 19. It is not clear when it will end. Previous seasons, however, have been between three and four months. There will be nine hunts so the season will be at least 10 weeks.
Apex Legends Broken Ghost Season Quest Weekly Hunts | How to unlock
There will be nine weekly hunts to grab the nine artifacts and they can be played with up to three total players (solo players get a couple self-revives) against AI. Players unlock new hunts for every fifth Treasure Pack they collect (more on Treasure Packs below), but new hunts are released weekly. These are PvE missions against prowlers (which you may recognize from Bloodhound’s Trials) and are on Kings Canyon at night so be sure to stay alert within the darkness.
These missions drop you in, task you with getting to a certain area and then escaping when you grab the artifact (which is shared to everyone in the party). You’ll get an exclusive weapon charm if you complete each hunt along with some story content. It’s unclear if there are more cosmetics tied to the weekly hunts. You can also replay hunts for fun after you unlock them. Don’t worry if you miss a hunt, too, as you have the rest of the season to play them.

But there are only a limited amount of days in the season (and therefore, treasure packs as well) so you can’t miss too many days and expect to get everything. Having 45 Treasure Packs means you need to at least play 45 competitive matches in the season to get your Treasure Packs.
Apex Legends Broken Ghost season quest Treasure Packs
The mysterious artifact that new Legend Loba is after has nine pieces. And players can get one piece per weekly hunt. But the key to these pieces are the new Treasure Packs. These are lootable items you find around in regular matches and are immediately collected when you grab them (as in they do not get stored in your backpack). Be sure to ping them so your squad can also grab them.

You can get only one per day (and you can even buy yesterday’s — and only yesterday’s — for 25-ac if you miss it). And you’ll need five to unlock the first hunt (and five more for the next one and so on). Essentially, you need to play at least one competitive match per day and find your daily Treasure Pack. Do that five days a week and you should be able to keep up with the hunts.
