Improving your island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the name of the game, and one major way of going about that is building new infrastructure. That’s caused many players ponder whether or not there’s a limit to the number of bridges they can build, taking to their search engine of choice to ask: “How many bridges in Animal Crossing: New Horizons?”
Stick with this guide to learn what number of bridges (and inclines) can be built on any single Animal Crossing Nintendo Switch island.
What is the max number of bridges in Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
Dedicated AC: New Horizons players can easily patrol their entire island several times a day, and infrastructure can make life a whole lot easier while doing so. Bridges prevent you from having to pull out and use the Vaulting Pole in order to cross water, while inclines mean that you don’t need to equip and use the Ladder in order to reach high places. Unfortunately, however, bridges and inclines are each limited to being used eight times each

How many inclines in Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
- Islands can feature a maximum of eight (8) inclines in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
- If you want to build more, you’ll first have to demolish one of the existing inclines.
