When is the Apex Legends Season 5 release date? With Respawn Entertainment‘s Battle Royale holding up quite well against the competition, we’ll probably be getting yet another new season of content sometime in 2020. But when will we be able to actually play this new Apex Legends season?
To start, it’s helpful if we look at how things have gone so far. Seasons in a game like Apex Legends aren’t quite like yearly events in a game like Overwatch; it’s much more possible for a Season to be delayed for one reason or another, especially with the massive amount of content that debuts every Season.

When did the previous Apex Legends Seasons release?
- Season 1 – March 19, 2019
- Season 2 – July 2, 2019
- Season 3 – October 1, 2019
- Season 4 – February 4, 2020
Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a truly predictable pattern. The first Season came out a month after the game launched in February 2019. The second season dropped in early July and the third season arrived in October. From there, we got Season 4 at the beginning of February 2020 — a little less than a year after the game made its debut.
