Valorant Beta Sign-Up Invite | Closed Beta start and end times

If you want to sign up for the Valorant beta, now’s the time to act. The closed beta for Riot Games‘ new shooter is starting soon, and the sign up process for Valorant is a bit unusual. To participate in the Valorant beta, you need an invite, and to get the invite you’ll need to get it via a Twitch drop.

How do I sign up for the Valorant beta?

If you want to get an invite to the Valorant closed beta, you’ll need to link your Riot account to Twitch first. To do this:

  • Make a Riot Games account (if you don’t already have one).
  • Link your Riot Games account to your Twitch account (Can be done via Twitch settings).
  • Watch Twitch streamers with early access to the Valorant beta:
    • ONSCREEN
    • Valkia
    • TimtheTatman
    • Nikolarn
    • feden
    • LIRIK
    • purpsenju
    • forsen
    • ghostedmtg
    • Anonymous

While viewing a streamer playing Valorant with drops enabled, you can randomly receive an invite for the beta. Basically, the more you watch, the better your chance is at getting an opportunity to sign up.

Valorant beta invite drops have already started, so you’ll want to get watching now if you want to participate. Unfortunately, only those living in these countries can play:

  • Canada
  • Europe (All countries)
  • Russia
  • Turkey
  • United States

Any progress made in the closed beta doesn’t carry over to launch, so don’t get too attached to any items you unlock. However, you can buy Valorant Points to make premium purchases, and those points will be refunded to you upon the full release of the game.

Valorant Beta Start and End Times

We know that the Valorant beta will begin on April 7 at 5 a.m PDT. However, Riot has not released any information on when it will end.

The only clue we have as to the beta’s end time is that the official FAQ states they want to keep it “as short as we can.” That means you likely won’t have too long to check it out, so make sure you redeem your code and get signed up ASAP.
