Resident Evil 3 Remake Yellow Locks

Resident Evil 3 Remake Yellow Locks | Where to find lock pick location

Knowing how to unlock yellow locks in Resident Evil 3 remake will give you access to a range of previously locked away goodies. Everything from ammo to grenades, to first aid kits and gunpowder, can be locked behind those yellow padlocks. Sadly, we don’t have a key to unlock them, but Jill is fortunately skilled with a lock pick. Here’s what you need to know about the RE3 remake yellow locks and the lock pick location.

How to unlock yellow locks in Resident Evil 3 remake

Resident Evil 3 Remake Yellow Locks

To unlock yellow locks in Resident Evil 3 remake, you’ll need to find the lock pick. Unlike in other non-Resi games, where you need to find multiple lock picks as they can break, the Resident Evil 3 remake is kind in that you only have to find the one, which will last forever. Unfortunately, tracking it down is a little tricky.

The lock pick is sneakily hidden within a case, seen above. You’ll first need to find this case, then rotate and unlock it in the view screen. The lock pick will be inside.

Below you can see the lock pick case location. Head to the spot marked with a yellow circle and interact with the dead body to receive the case.

You aren’t able to miss the lock pick as you’ll need it to open the substation gate, gaining access to the spider den below. Mutated spiders are your reward for finding the lock pick. Enjoy!

Once you have the lock pick, you can retrace your steps and unlock yellow locks that you previously had to ignore.
