Let’s get real, though: You want to catch fish, not only to pad out the museum, but to earn a few Bells in the process. However, if you consider yourself a dedicated angler, time is running out to catch this season’s rarest creatures. Here’s a list of all the fish leaving Animal Crossing: New Horizons in March.

As you’re likely aware, flora and fauna in Animal Crossing: New Horizons shift around depending on seasons. As such, some of the game’s many creatures such as fish can only be found in certain months. Naturally, players are by now keen to catch all the fish that will disappear after March ends.

Fortunately, the list of fish leaving in March isn’t too long. The main species you’ll want to catch before March ends is the Stringfish. Beware, however: You’ll need a ladder to reach the cliff tops where the Stringfish can be caught.
