Doom Eternal Left Side Glory Kill | How to perform

Doom Eternal Left Side Glory Kill | How to perform

The Doom Eternal left side Glory Kill is no simple task because it’s confusing. What side do you need to be on? You’ll need to perform it on an Archville in the Nekravol Part 2 mission as well as on a Doom Hunter in Nekravol in order to complete the challenge and get the associate Sentinel Battery. So how do you perform a left side Glory Kill in Doom Eternal?

First off, you need to be on the demon’s left side. This can be tricky since you may think you have to go to the other side since that is your left side. But nope. You have to go to the demon’s left side.

To perform a left side Glory Kill on an Archville, go to its left side after you have staggered it like in the above picture (the Glory Kill glow is just turned off). That picture shows you exactly where you need to be and about where you need to aim (which does matter). It doesn’t need to be 100% exact, but you should try to be as close to that (the left side of his chest) as possible. It’s also important to be on his direct side and not favor his front or back as those could trigger different Glory Kills. You’ll know it’s the right one when you chop him up a bit and then stomp on his head like the picture at the very top of the article.

The Dazed and Confused suit rune (which keeps them staggered for longer) is infinitely helpful here since the Archville can get up rather quickly. Just restart the checkpoint if you don’t get it.

You’ll also need to perform a left side Glory Kill on a Doom Hunter in the Nekravol mission, but the same basics apply. Get it staggered, which may take a bit, go on its left side, and look at it around the chest and perform the Glory Kill (as shown in the picture by the white circle). Again, you don’t have to aim exactly there, but try to be as close as you can, which includes where your’re standing as that is important, too (be directly to the side of him). The Dazed and Confused rune (explained above) is also great for this since it staggers your enemies for longer so you have more time to get into position. You’ll need it since this can be very hard to get as you have to fight two Doom Hunters at once at the end of the level and if you mess it up, you have to restart the checkpoint or risk playing the level all over again.

The Glory Kill in question is where you cut his waist, grab him by the horn, and then jam your blade through his chin, which you can see in the above picture.
