Doom Eternal is finally out and people can not only enjoy the sublime campaign, but the interesting multiplayer mode as well. However, there seems to be a weird bug with it where it’ll say 0 XP earned and you’ll get, like it says, no experience for the match you just played. So why are you not getting experience in Doom Eternal‘s Battlemode? What is the Doom Eternal 0 XP earned bug?

In short, we have no idea why you’re not getting experience while playing Doom Eternal‘s Battlemode but it seems like it is something on the server side. I started hitting trouble and not getting XP when I hit level eight, but this is affecting people of all levels. It seems as though you don’t get experience, but it eventually catches back up to you. It’s hard to say if you get everything, but in my experience, it seems likely that you will get all of your experience if you just wait. It is nerve wracking and disappointing to not get XP, but at least you seem to get it eventually. It does take quite some time so you’ll sadly have to be patient and give it a few hours or so.

Hopefully Bethesda fixes this issue soon. But this could just something that is happening at launch as it is running into online issues in other places, too. It is very discouraging to see the bar not move at all, even if it comes later. Bethesda has not addressed the issue as the team undoubtedly has its hands full right now. People want their rewards, after all. In short, just keep playing. It appears as though you’ll get your experience somewhere down the line.
