- First, make sure your drivers are up to date!
- To give yourself the best chance of running Warzone smoothly on PC, you’re going to want to download the latest Nvidia or AMD drivers for your graphics card.
- Run the game in fullscreen mode.
- At the time of writing, anything but fullscreen mode can introduce an odd stutter that drastically impacts playability. Go fullscreen!
- Choose the best PC settings for performance.
- The main culprits of sucking up FPS in the graphics settings are: Shadow Map Resolution, Raytracing, and Ambient Occlusion. I’d also disable all types of motion blur.
- Make use of Render Resolution.
- Decreasing the Render Resolution option from 100 is an easy way to boost FPS. For example, going from 100 to 95 can help push lower-end hardware over that sweet 60 FPS point.

- Tweak what you can.
- Though customizable graphics options are pretty limited on console, you are able to disable motion blur and film grain.
- Avoid demanding areas.
- Some locations on the map are more demanding than others. If you suffer FPS drop in Downtown, for example, you might want to drop elsewhere. Once a good number of players have left the game, performance generally stabilizes, so later circles shouldn’t be too taxing on your system.

- The base PS4 and Xbox One can struggle to run Call of Duty: Warzone. Perhaps it’s time to consider an upgrade to a PS4 Pro or Xbox One X.
