By and large, most players should be able to get by with the standard edition. However, collectors will be interested in the chance to score a sweet Play Arts Cloud Strife Hardy Daytona figurine with the Final Fantasy 7 Remake 1st Class Edition.

Here’s a breakdown of each of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake editions, how much they cost, and information about their included extras as well as preorder bonuses.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Standard Edition

The standard edition Final Fantasy 7 Remake will cost $59.99. As expected, it only includes the base game. However, if you place a preorder for the standard edition, you can nab one of several different preorder bonuses, depending on the retailer:

  • Chocobo Chick Summon Materia – all eligible preorders
  • Sephiroth PS4 theme – Amazon
  • Serialized Shrina Key Card and Collectible Tin Box – GameStop
  • Double-sided art cards (x3) – Walmart

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Deluxe Edition

The Deluxe Edition costs $79.99, and includes any of the eligible preorder options from the standard version. Of course, the Deluxe Edition also includes several extra bonuses, including:

  • Final Fantasy 7 Remake artbook
  • Mini-soundtrack
  • Steelbook case
  • Cactuar Summon Materia

Final Fantasy 7 Remake 1st Class Edition

The 1st Class Edition of Final Fantasy 7 Remake is the clear choice for those who like collectibles. The 1st Class Edition costs a whopping $329.99, but comes with one major bonus: An intricately detailed Play Arts Kai Cloud Strife and Hardy Daytona figurine. Standing almost a foot tall and over a foot wide, there’s little doubt this will be of interest to die-hard fans or serious collectors. The 1st Class Edition also comes with all of the bonuses offered in the Deluxe edition, including the artbook, soundtrack, steelbook case, and Cactaur Summon Materia.

It might be hard to choose between the different Final Fantasy 7 Remake editions, but that’s probably the point. Thankfully, most players should get by with the standard edition. If you want a few bonuses, the Deluxe is only 20 bucks more and includes the ever-popular steelbook case. The 1st Class is really only for those who want (and can afford) the limited Cloud Strife Hardy Daytona figurine.
