When is the Modern Warfare Warzone update coming out? While rumors were circulating that hinting at a March 3 release date, the day has come without a Call of Duty Warzone update being deployed. What’s more, there hasn’t even been any official announcement about the new Modern Warfare battle royale mode. Despite fans hoping for Warzone to release sooner rather than later, it’s looking like Call of Duty players will need to wait even longer before they explore the new battle royale map. Here’s what you need to know about the Modern Warfare Warzone update release date and time.
Modern Warfare Warzone Update release date and time
Unfortunately, for those that were hoping for a March 3 release date, the Modern Warfare Warzone update appears to have been scheduled for a later time. With new patches being rolled out at 1 PM ET, normally on Tuesday, it’s looking unlikely that Warzone will be coming to the game this week.

With that said, as Warzone is no doubt going to be a massive event, with a huge number of players logging on to check it out, perhaps the delay is due to developer Infinity Ward making sure it can handle the stress. It’s possible that this not-so-usual Warzone update will roll out at a not-so-usual date and time.
On the other hand, Infinity Ward has already detailed the latest Playlist Update for the game, without mentioning the Warzone-shaped elephant in the room.
Since wasn’t isn’t yet available, maybe the following Multiplayer playlists will help distract you while you wait:
- 3v3 Gunfight
- 1v1 Me Bro – All Gunfight maps, UAV always-on, ability
to hear enemy players speaking. - Boots on the Ground War – Removing Realism.
If no update appears today, the next best estimate is March 10 at 1 PM ET.
