How to play with friends in One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows

When you first boot up One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, it can be tough to work out how exactly you invite friends to a fight. You might even think that it’s not possible! Thankfully, creating custom matches and inviting friends locally or through online is supported by the new One Punch Man game. It’s just a little tricky to work out how it’s done, especially if you’re seeing the pesky “Due to insufficient game progress” message. Here’s how to play with friends in One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows.

To play with friends in One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, you’ll first need to progress to the point where you can travel to the Association HQ. Once there, you’ll want to speak to the woman with a “VS” symbol above her head. She’ll allow you to play with friends.

You won’t immediately be able to play with friends, so it’s important that you get up to this stage before attempting online fights. Attempts made before you unlock the Association HQ will result in a “Due to insufficient game progress” error message.

Once you have access to the VS menu, you’ll be able to challenge other players to custom fights, as well as search for matches against random players. Use the characters you’ve unlocked so far to try and dominate the opposition!
