Fortnite x Travis Scott

Fortnite x Travis Scott | Is a new Icon Series skin coming?

Developer Epic Games’ Fortnite springs a lot of leaks, but a big one recently got a little bit lost amongst all the Chapter 2 Season 2 excitement. It appears as though a Fortnite x Travis Scott skin collaboration could be set to make its way to the popular battle royale game, most likely as part of the new Icon Series line of cosmetics. In this guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know about the potential upcoming Fortnite and Travis Scott collaboration.

Is there a Fortnite x Travis Scott collab?

We’ve seen Fortnite collaborate with real-world musicians in the past, namely Marshmello and Major Lazer. Both received in-game cosmetic items apeing their appearance, though only Marshmello received the honor of performing a virtual concert in the form of an in-game Fortnite event.

It’s unclear whether American rapper Jacques Berman Webster II, better known as Travis Scott, will get the full concert treatment at this stage. What appears to be very likely, however, is that Scott will at least receive a Fortnite skin based on his appearance.

According to reliable Fortnite data-miner @Lucas7yoshi, the game has been updated to include a cosmetic set by the name of “Travis Scott.” It’s highly unlikely that this would relate to anybody other than the famed rap artist, who’s a noted fan of Fortnite.

As seen in the tweet above, it’s speculated that being part of a “set” means that the Fortnite x Travis Scott collaboration could extend beyond just a new skin and include “some other stuff.” While that isn’t very indicative of what exactly could be included, with it specifically being described as a “cosmetic” set we can guess it might pertain to a Travis Scott Emote and/or Back Bling and/or Pickaxe.

When the Travis Scott Fortnite skin might be added to the game is currently unknown. Sometimes the appearance of new code can indicate that the related item(s) are right around the corner, while other times there’s still a long wait to endure before all becomes clear.
