Should I choose Ghost or Shadow in Fortnite?

The Fortnite Ghost or Shadow choice is one of the biggest decisions players will need to make during Chapter 2 – Season 2. Fortunately, there really is no wrong answer, as it ultimately comes down to which style the player likes better. While there are differences between the Ghost and Shadow operators, they don’t impact gameplay in any meaningful way. Therefore, you won’t be at a disadvantage based on your choice. As mentioned in the intro above, the key differences between Ghost and Shadow operators at the way they look. You can see the Shadow cosmetics above, which are unsurprisingly dark. While they don’t give you any direct buffs in battle, darker Fortnite skins have always proven to be more difficult to spot, compared to brighter skins.

You can see the Ghost skins below. They are white-themed, like ghosts! As you might imagine, these skins are going to be spotted more easily, when compared to the Shadow operators. However, if they look cooler to you, then maybe that slight disadvantage is worth it.

If you’re thinking tactically, then the dark Shadow outfits are likely the best choice, as they are easier to conceal in the dark environments on the island. The Ghost outfits, on the other hand, are super bright and easy to spot and track.

Ultimately, the choice is yours, and there really is no wrong answer. Just go with the outfits you think look better.
