A brand new Fortnite update is available to download and install right now on iOS and Xbox One, it will also be available to download on Nintendo Switch at a later date (hopefully soon). It hasn’t been confirmed for PS4 or PC. In this guide, we’ll let you in on the Fortnite 11.50.1 update patch notes. It’s not a big update, but it should make your experience at least a little better on the three consoles listed above. Read on to discover everything the new Fortnite update is improving and fixing.
Fortnite 11.50.1 Update Patch Notes
As stated above, there aren’t too many patch notes to tell you about. Indeed, as per the official Fortnite Status Twitter account, the single Fortnite 11.50.1 patch note is thus:
- Addressed stability on iOS, Xbox One
- Will be released on Nintendo Switch too at a later date
That’s all there is to know about the latest (perhaps not greatest) Fortnite update. Instead of providing anything new, this update has instead looked at and addressed stability issues on iOS, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. This means that, after you download the update, your Fortnite experience should be a little smoother on the three platforms detailed above. Nothing revolutionary, but still a nice little fix for you.
According to the Fortnite Assist Twitter account, however, the update has notably fixed the annoying weak points not registering on hit issue. This hasn’t been mentioned by the developers, so do take this potential fix with a pinch of salt and try it out for yourself. Again, this update is only for iOS, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
While the Fortnite 11.50.1 update is a small one that’s only available on three platforms, it is always nice to know that the developer is working hard to improve the game. We know, too, that the development team is aware of several other issues in the game. Perhaps we’ll see fixes to the new physics system, friend selection, and getting stuck on the loading screen issues in future updates.
