New No Man’s Sky 2.27 update patch notes have been detailed. Today’s update for Feburary 5 is currently rolling out across PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms. Below you’ll find the initial details shared via the “Update History” feature on PS4, followed by the full list of patch notes, having now been revealed by developer Hello Games. If you were hoping for a large number of changes to be implemented by the new update today, then you may be disappointed to read that there are only three improvements listed. (Though it’s perfectly possible that the developers have made other changes, but chosen not to reveal them.) Read on for the full No Man’s Sky 2.27 patch notes list.
No Man’s Sky 2.27 Update Patch Notes
As is often the case with new No Man’s Sky updates, the first details we receive are provided by the PS4’s “Update History” feature. Unfortunately, Hello Games hasn’t provided much information there, with only “various bug fixes” listed as a change. Obviously this doesn’t give us much in the way of specific fixes.
Version 2.27
- Various bug fixes.
Thankfully, the official No Man’s Sky website has detailed the three fixes that have been implemented by update 2.27. These include a fix for a potential softlock, a small visual issue, and a number of problems with a Japanese translation.
- Fixed a potential softlock with a weekend event mission.
- Fixed a small visual issue with jetpack trails.
- Fixed a number of issues with the Japanese translation of new Quicksilver items.
While many players won’t be too impressed with these fixes, I’m sure those that have been affected by the above problems will be happy to see them solved.
If this update didn’t do anything for you, worry not, for I’m sure developer Hello Games is now working on update 2.28. Stay tuned for more information on that when it lands.
