Navigation in Journey to the Savage Planet can be a little tricky, especially if you happen to die and need to head back to the mission objectives. While the different markers can give you a good idea of where your next destination is, it can be difficult to work out the exact route to take. With some paths forcing you up vertically, climbing and grappling your way up tall mountains, it sure would be nice to know the answer to: “Is there a map view in Journey to the Savage Planet?” Here’s what you need to know.
Journey to the Savage Planet Map View | Can you view a map?
If you’ve found yourself lost in the dangerous wilderness of Journey to the Savage Planet, then a map would be a crucial tool to help get you out of that sticky situation. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, there isn’t a way to view a map. There is no map view showing your character in relation to other landmarks, or anything equally helpful. Players are limited to clicking in the right thumbstick and sending out a ping. This then marks objectives for you to head towards.

Unfortunately, it’s not yet possible to view the map in Journey to the Savage Planet.
For now, you’ll have to treat the absence of a map as an additional challenge as you fight to survive in the alien environment. It’s possible that, in the future, the developers will add a map function to help players who are feeling a little lost. It would be especially helpful to those seeking to 100% the game, finding all secrets and collectible items.
