Fortnite Chapter 3 | When Does Fortnite Chapter 2 End?

When Epic Games launched the battle royale update for Fortnite back in September 2017, it quickly took the world by storm. Chapter 1 was wildly successful and lasted for more than two years before a black hole swallowed up the original map in October 2019, shortly after which Chapter 2 was born. Gamers are always looking to the future to see what exciting things are to come, so, naturally, people are already asking “when does Fortnite Chapter 2 end?” Although anticipation for Fortnite Chapter 3 is high, you should probably brace yourself for a long wait ahead.

When will Fortnite Chapter 2 end?

when does Fortnite Chapter 2 end?

Developer Epic Games hasn’t made any official announcements regarding the Fortnite Chapter 2 end date, so it’s only possible to speculate at this moment in time. With that being said, judging based on their previous form — that being a 25-month run for Chapter 1 — Fortnite Chapter 2 would end in November 2021.

That date should obviously be taken with a pinch of salt, as it’s entirely possible that Epic will now target a different timeframe; Chapter 2 could be longer or shorter, or there may not even be any plans for Fortnite Chapter 3 at all. With a high level of secrecy surrounding the launch of Chapter 2 (Epic sued a tester for leaking its existence), it’s unlikely that any news will come to light before the developer fully intends it to.

Although it might be hard to contain your excitement, this means that waiting things out is the only option right now. In the meantime, there’ll be plenty of updates to Chapter 2 through the launch of new Seasons. Chapter 2 Season 1 should be set to end soon and usher in a new wave of content to help keep devoted Fortnite players entertained. Keep working on those Battle Passes to while away the time as you await Chapter 3 news.
