Fancy a game of WWE 2K20 to see in the new year, do you? Well, unfortunately, that isn’t currently possible, due to a glitch and/or bug impacting PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game. It appears that the crashing is caused by the new year, with the world having now passed over into 2020. This seems to have had a negative impact on WWE 2K20, as it no longer works. However, there is a way around the issues that should enable some players to enjoy the experience before an official WWE 2K20 crashing fix is (hopefully) rolled out. Read on for the full details.
WWE 2K20 Crashing Fix | Why is the game crashing?
While it isn’t yet officially confirmed by publisher 2K or developer Visual Concepts, WWE 2K20 crashes began to hit all systems at the turn of the new year. It’s like the “Y2K Virus” that sent technology into a spin back in 2000.

How to stop WWE 2K20 crashing in 2020
Thankfully, there does appear to be a fix available to those willing to tweak with their console system settings. As stated by user “ShiningDown” on Reddit, players wanting to get past the main menu will need to change their system date to one day ago.
the crashes fix if you change your date to 1 day ago. you can be online with the date changed and still access all the menus you normally would.
so to sum it up, change your date on your PS4 or PC to 1 day ago then launch the game and you’re good to go. you can change the date back after getting into any menu that crashed, btw.
There doesn’t yet appear to be a fix for those playing on PC. Hopefully one appears soon!
