Forza Horizon 4 Series 17 Update Patch Notes | Toyota Supra, The Eliminator, and more

Forza Horizon 4’s latest major update is here, bringing a new game mode and new vehicles to Playground Games’ simulation racer. The Forza Horizon 4 Series 17 update added the new The Eliminator battle royale mode, as well as the triumphant return of a long-awaited car: the Toyota Supra. In this guide, we’ll cover the big additions in the Series 17 update, and we’ll also provide the full Forza Horizon 4 Series 17 patch notes.

Forza Horizon 4 Series 17 Update | Toyota Supra & other vehicles

Besides the battle royale mode, Series 17’s addition of the Toyota Supra is perhaps its most significant. Paul Walker’s character used a 1994 Supra in 2001’s Fast and the Furious, and the car is now somewhat of a street racing icon. The Supra was not seen in a major racing game since Gran Turismo Sport in 2017, and it’s speculated — based on a deleted August 2019 Toyota UK tweet — that its absence could have something to do with Toyota not wanting to be associated with illegal street racing. Regardless, Playground Games announced in November that Toyota vehicles would be returning to the Forza series, beginning with a 1998 Supra RZ in the Series 17 update. While the official patch notes below don’t mention the Supra, Playground demonstrated the vehicle in a lengthy Forza Monthly” livestream yesterday, and fans on Reddit are already celebrating the vehicle’s return with hype and pictures.
